United Hogan Assessment?
#71
Hey guys...
So I got the "Hogan Email" along with the United Invitation email Friday and completed the test around 5pm Friday afternoon. I know most people get a response within 24-36 hours but I'm assuming I will have to wait until at least tomorrow to hear anything. Has anyone completed it over a weekend and if so could you share your results timeline?

I took mine Saturday morning and had to wait until Monday, early afternoon to get the response.

Who did you guys receive the email from saying you passed? I got the test Friday, took it Saturday, but still haven't heard anything from anyone yet.
I just don't want to accidentally overlook the email. Also, did everyone have two sections when you logged into hogan assessment? One that had about 230 questions and then a second with about 170 or so?
Thanks and congrats to those who passed!

Well, add another victim to the Hogan...
I received the Email Friday, took it shortly thereafter, and just received the TBNT email about an hour ago. The email was from the same AirlineApps that told me I was being selected. I'm pretty dumbfounded. I answered honestly and consistently and would like to think I am a pretty normal, likable guy. Let me know how it works out for you.

Really hate hearing about the failed Hogan tests. It's tough to swallow. but keep your head up guys! Everything happens for a reason.
We have some great Hogan/Psychometric Testing articles we send our clients before their Hogan test. It's a great read and found to be very productive before the test.

I've posted this before and will again. I was hired in September of 13. At the time Charlie Venimia (sp?) came in and talked about the hiring processes. The hogan was a hot topic. Everyone getting the TBNT (I'm assuming) are very safe, personable, professional pilots. And if this was the standard hogan you would have interviewed and probably done well. However the hogan selection for UAL is skewed for the "new" united culture they want to grow. The results are based off a sampling of company picked and ALPA picked pilots and that took the hogan and there results to come up with the "score" they are looking for. FWIW I interviewed with CAL in 07 and was turned down, hired here 13. So don't get discourage and, this part is obvious I think, apply every where. You will more than likely find that you are a perfect fit for DAL or AA. Every pilot group is just a little different in the culture they bring to work. You might find yourself much happier in 5-10 years with how things played out. All in all don't beat yourself up or think that you answered the questions wrong....it's not that cut and dry.
