James Rollins used to be our veterinarian here in Sacramento before his writing career took off. He was a great vet and great guy. Great author too.

Default Hogan Prep

Has anyone done any sort of "hogan prep" and taken any sort of practice tests that you can see your personality type. And yes, I know that you can't really prepare for the test and to answer honestly and consistently throughout the test, but, that didn't work the first time around for me hahaha
Apparently I was too honest for UAL

Any kind of evaluation is a test, and every test can be prepared for... despite what you may have been told. Think of it this way: you could (and should) spend several hundred dollars on interview (and previously, SIM prep), why would you go into any aspect of the process cold and uniformed?

There is a large supply of free and fee-based prep for these types of tests. On the advice of a good friend who busted the Hogan his first time I voraciously searched the Internet for any info I could find to prep for it. Not memorizing answers, but understanding WHY they are asking the questions and WHAT they were looking for. More of an attitude to approach the test than anything else.

What I found worked for me, and it worked for my friend his second time around.

Read this: http://www.filedropper.com/hoganpdf

It gives you an idea of how the test works, so you'll understand what answer works best. It's a long read, but you can skip quite a bit in the beginning.

Thanks! I'll take a look at that. Where did you find that from?

Lots of prep companies out there is one better than another? What's the difference? EC, FAPA, CIC, Cage what else is there? Who's had success? Who has not?
Is it airline specific? Target United use..? Use one to get an interview and another to get by the interview?
What is the best career prep company for the United application? Testing?
Interview?
