Not sure what your situation is - but after 'failing' the Hogan, I started looking elsewhere and was fortunate enough to get picked up at another Major a couple weeks ago. Don't limit your options.

1Taco,
Sorry to read that you've joined the club.
Human Resources has enforced the one year time period so that you have sufficient time to concentrate on rehabilitating yourself and changing your *****y personality so that you are a much better fit for UAL the following year.

In the meantime I'll continue to beef up my resume and pursue other airlines. If nothing else, hopefully UAL gives me another shot next year.
Glad to hear you landed on your feet somewhere else!

Just took the Hogan on Friday.....made it - interview already setup. Lots of gouge out there; read it all and felt pretty comfortable going in.
Nothing I can say hasn't already been said before...
PM if you have ?'s....

Just took the Hogan while not well rested....was sick as a dog actually...but I stayed away from absolutes and answered the rest with what came to mind first. Some of the questions were a toss-up and most could have led to essay length answers to parse out the nuances....but I resisted the temptation to think too hard (as per the instructions) and just went with it.
FWIW, it worked.

So based on our two experiences the key is you need to be sick.

Hypothetically, some enterprising and well adapted recent United hire could make a little extra coin by discretely offering their test taking services.. Of course no one of such low moral character could pass the hogan in the first place.

Sounds like maybe knocking the "edge" off of your normal personality might be the trick. I guess they are targeting slightly depressed, tired unenthusiastic applicants?
