Congrats on the interview invite! I've used Lori Clark for several interviews, and she's excellent. I know she has prepped a lot of people for United interviews in the last couple of years. Good luck!

Congrats to everyone who's got the invite. I passed a few days ago and now I'm getting all my documents in order. I noticed a note from BK to block out the date of birth on all docs, including the FAA medical.
At one point I know UAL wanted a fresh medical within six months, for age discrimination issue, but I thought that had been changed or the rumor had ended. Does anyone have clarity on this? I have been looking for it in a bunch of forums so far without any luck. If it is somewhere else please point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of needing a medical within the last 6 months. When I interviewed earlier this year my medical was 9-10 months old. You don't need to go out and get a new medical.

I interviewed with a medical that was 2 months from the 12 month expiration date and got the job. They tell you exactly how they want your paperwork and if they wanted a fresh medical they would tell you that. Definitely make sure to black out the date of birth on everything though. It will also be on your transcripts.... Good luck!

Thanks for the input. That's one more item checked off.

Should we block out our birthdate on the EEOC page of AirlineApps too? How did you guys get your points? Job fairs?, meet and greets?, webinars?, volunteering to save kittens on your off time? making sure your availability date is always in the future? Did I miss any thing else? It's all about the points!

Can you elaborate on the "God complex"....I wasn't a psych major.

Just got the TBNT email.

Received Hogan invite Thursday, took it Friday.

Knew I was in trouble when people were receiving interview invites immediately after doing the Hogan test.

FWIW, I also was flagged at Delta.

Ridiculous.... Good enough for the military but not good enough for UAL.. Idiots.. Hang in there man. As noted earlier in the thread, if you are willing to give up a years worth of seniority and retake the test you'll probably pass it. The hiring hypocrisy in this industry is astounding.
