With the big number of qualified applicants maybe they should be looking at ALPA carriers first.

Doesn't work that way.........

I had two guys coming through initial last week. One was a CRJ guy I can't remember which airline the other was coming off the 777 at SAT.

Because ALPA has ruined so many careers over the last two decades, it would be altruistic to help some of them get back on their feet?

I do work for an ALPA carrier. UAL....
IMHO a person who comes from another ALPA carrier should get a shot first.
HR doesn't ask my opinion though.
