In the days of the 727 and the 737-200 at UAL there were NO RJs. So yeah dude that is the flying that has been stolen by RJs. Which might be why it looks familiar to you? Doncha think?

Not stolen, given away by mainline at all majors due to scope for sale.

Believe me, the history of the current scope situation is not lost on me. In fact, based on the "regional" flying at United that's now done on the RJ vs. what the 727 and 737 USED to do, I would argue that the 727 and early 737s were the original "RJs". Therefore, I chose the word tragedy deliberately. It would seem the intent of my statement was missed but I am glad others got it.

PM sent.
