Default United meet and greet

Hello...I have a meet and greet scheduled this Tuesday the 16th with two training captains at the training center in DEN. I'm just trying to get a feel for what to expect. I'm not expecting any typical interview questions, but more of a get to know you type atmosphere. If anybody has any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

That's a new one. Are the Chief Pilot Meet and Greets done for, now its training captains?

Can someone explain what the Meet and Greets are? How does one go about trying to schedule one? Is it exclusively for 121 pilots?

I am assuming it is part of their interview process but I have no idea.

The Chief Pilot meet and greets are for everybody, provided you get a current pilot to set one up for you. As far as I know, they're still doing them. I got a buddy one back in August.

It's a low stress event.

The way I understand it is if you know someone at United and they can pull some strings and get a meet and greet with a Chief Pilot. I don't think there is any other way to get one, but I could be wrong.

Default United meet and greet

I did one in houston a few months ago, just asked you about your story and why the other pilot thinks you should work for United. Really relaxed. If he thinks something of you expect a rec in a few weeks. I sent them a thank you note too for taking their time to meet me.

Harrier Dude, Dukeuno and DroopsN10: thank you for your responses. That seems like a very nice meeting to have!

Thanks for the replies. It's actually a meeting with a Fleet Training Manager and Standards Captain. This meeting is only due to an internal contact.
