Excellent news! I know UCH is it's own airline, but they should definitely take a look at flying mainline on even the shortest of routes on at least one flight a day between city pairs like DAL has been doing. DAL utilizes the a319, md88, and 717 on short flights out of ATL like AGS VPS CHA and FAY.
The DAL guys complain about the number of legs being flown in a day, and I know for certain the guys around here will complain about the same thing, but, it will be more mainline flights which we can all agree is a better thing. Pull two RJ flights a day, put one NB flight in its place. Free up hub congestion with fewer flights (less delays etc that will save $$), slightly increase capacity, and mainline pilots will be the ones doing the flying.

Firsttime:
Disclaimer: my opinion only, having read some tea-leaves in the TK cafeteria. And it might not have been tea-leaves; the cup just might have been dirty. . Well, seriously, it's looking at lots of bits and pieces of info and rumor out there.
Scrappy:
Unfortunately, I agree. Only customers for it seem to be Lufthansa, Cathay, Atlas, and Cargolux. Only 119 confirmed orders.
I doubt Boeing will break-even on it.

"The 787-9 and 10 are small airplanes?"
How did you get a flying job? I believe to get an ATP one has to be able to red, speak and understand English.
I said this:
"The advantage of the 787 is it is a smaller two aisle airplane with very long legs."
It is slightly bigger than the 767-400 and smaller than a 777 and 747-400 or -8.
It is also common knowledge it is Boeing's 767 replacement airplane while they are developing the 777X.
The devil's in the details.
And yes we often love our airplanes more than our women, long legs and all!
