Yep that's my guess too. Like I mentioned earlier those 98 hires were most likely not going to hold on to this one. And they didn't.

Yea that's confusing. How can a 2005 hire be on the list there and a 98 hire can't get it?

He's referring to the LUAL 1998 hires. They won't be able to hold it. They were slotted in with 2005/2006 hires on the LCAL side. It will probably end up in the late 1997's for LUAL hire dates.

2005 CAL hire was a Captain pre-merger and 1998 UAL hire was a reserve narrowbody FO pre merger??

NO fact there. No one was furloughed for 14 years. Some Military leave pilots may have been out that long.
