Nothing beats the pack exhaust on a 757 to get warm. A minute under that and you're glowing like Chernobyl.

Why is your Captain running the APU during your walk around? Hasn't he been to OET class yet? There goes our profit sharing.

Had to wait 30 minutes after landing to get a gate last night. That's far more wasted gas than the APU running for 15 minutes prior to push.

Maybe the company should tell the other groups how important it is to make the operation run correctly.

Pack exhaust also works great for air drying a swim suit if you happen to be water skiing on a layover and barely make it back for pickup. Just sayin'
