EWR has the highest number of flights with 767-4 flying IAD is next some flying out of IAH and LAX. Majority of the flights are EWR look at the bid pack. And masterof puppets I am a United pilot on the 76 also.
MP was inferring (right or wrong, as I think several did) that the tone of his post was "Phsssh, United never had the 764, it was CAL, and UCH flies it xyz."

It had an heir of snooty, CALvUAL to it whether he meant it or not.

Moving along, lets all make tons of money flying airplanes 12 days a month, and start leaning on Delta...

I can except that!
I don't read tone I was under the impression it was just talking about flying.

Both airlines flew the 767 pre-merger. CAL had 24 of them and UAL had 36. Ever heard of the "BAT" or the "76T"? That's the pre merger UAL 767 fleet.

History gets re-written every day on this board.

Not that I'm wanting to further any more silly discussions on "he said; she said", BUT the thread is about 767-400s of which UAL had none. There is a difference.

767-300. . . . 30/184(214). . . . MTOG 407.0
767-400. . . . .39/203(242). . . . MTOG 450.0

and just for comparison

787-8 . . . . 30/70/113(219). . . MTOG 502.0 (I think)
777-200. . . .50/217(267) . . . . .MTOG 766.0 (I think)

Sigh, why do you guys insist on continuing "arguments" such as this. Honestly, it makes United pilots look foolish.

Pretty sure this was from a non-united pilot, possibly someone looking to get hired and inquiring about current possible a/c and bases.

It wasn't a question of what WAS.... but what IS.

Let's move on and give the possible new hires a reason to want to come here.

This just points out the ridiculousness of the current paybanding, where on one fleet, you can get paid narrowbody, midbody, or widebody pay. All for flying the same class of airplanes! It is likely that our new contract will unband the 767-400, so someone picking that fleet just to maybe fly a 767-400 one day might find that there isn't an advantage in that in the future.

I concur. The pay should reflect UPS. One pay for FOs, one for Capt. People will naturally flock to the flying they desire. Works like a champ at brown.

I agree United pilots look foolish when they vote by an overwhelming majority to have a wide body aircraft pay narrow body pay.

You clearly have no idea how we got pay banding the 767-400 in this contract then.
