Yes. According to sect 12-I-2, "The company shall allow access to ccs, or it's equivalent, to pilots on a leave of absence in order to allow them to...update their standing staffing bid, and input vacancy, displacement....bids."

Please tell which group will subsidize the pay increases for the NB pilots? It all sounds good until you have to produce answers in the face of a company that would laugh at the thought of $250/177 for all seats. Anything less and you are disenfranchising a large population of the pilot group.

I get that ... any change in the status quo means robbing Peter to pay Paul ... one could argue that had we not gone down this road of tying pay to size, err "productivity", then perhaps we all would be making more money .... so maybe the senior bubbas have been stealing from the less senior bubbas this whole time? As a UNION, we should be looking out for everyone, not just the senior ones. I'd much rather bid equipment for QOL rather than for $$$$.
Its bad enough we had to subsidize guppy pay by downbanding 757 and subsidize 767-400 and 787 by downbanding 747 and 777.

Its not that. Senior people have waited their turn. Now they want to be paid for the senior equipment, not just give it up so more junior pilots can make more money.

If the tables were turned, the lCAL guys would have been torqued off.
It is over and done with.
FWIW I am glad Sparky gets the upper pay band. We should end up with a very large fleet of them eventually so I am happy that aircraft gets paid more than it otherwise should. We should all benefit from that decision one day.
