I don't care either. However, all us keyboard warriors talk big. People here love to twist words, state lies as truths, argue for the sake of it, label each other, and the list goes on. I bet some of us have flown together and didn't even know it and we liked each other only to come here and cast stones. My point is you can't predict behavior. We will have some that cross when the time comes. It's a fact of life. I can't worry about that. What I can do is do my best, be part of the solution, and try and set the example in hope that others will follow.

Oh and enjoy this job and family like Scrappy says.

Correct, you can't predict behavior. Behavior can be influenced.

Sadly, we have a different picture of 9/11 at United.

Pkola,
Question...are you staller and the other names that repeatedly gets banned? Just want to know who I am taking to. Our new hires need more than the info you provide.

Special and all. Nothing low about it and I appreciate your passion. I was mentioning several things that has changed our industry and country forever. Along with the other things I mention these hurt our industry. Would you not agree?

I take 9/11 very seriously. Little background and my picture of it. I was one of the first Marine units in country after 9/11. I spent almost a year there on the ground. I have had more friends than I care to count die there and Iraq (which I was there with the SAS for 10 months). I sat more times than I care being angry and wanting to kill those that harmed us and ALL those innocent civilians that perished. I was saddened that most people I know let this recent 9/11 just kinda go by. It's my personal Pearl Harbor because we lived it like the greatest generation did with their attack. Don't think for a second that I don't walk by the plaque at TK and not feel the sadness because I do.

The reason I left active duty was because I was told I could either go to Oki for two years without my family or do a 15 month tour with a special unit. I had a friend doing this and he got killed by a sniper. My wife and kids couldn't handle the idea of me leaving again.

Hope this helps paint my picture for you? I'm not some old scab and scabby Cal. I'm a young guy who has 27 years here and who cares about our pilot group and new company.

First thing you need to do is ignore Pkola! No matter what you say he just babbles back at you! He doesn't even make sense half the time! Thanks for your service and remember ignore!!
