Default Lineholder out of base pickup

Just want to make sure I understand this correctly. Is the earliest I can pick up an out of base trip 1300 local the day before the trip starts? As a lineholder, I wasnt sure if there was a way to get it before a reserve can (11am). Thanks!

Only after 1300 Local time the day prior. All locals (line holders and reserves) get first dibs, no way around it.

No the company will move the trip to another domicile if they have no coverage and build DH to the pairing

This might be a stupid question, but how do you pick up a trip from open time? Ive tried senority trip trade, realtime trip trade, and just regular open time. It wont let me select the pairing. This is my first month as a line holder. Im talking about just picking up a trip within my own base. Is it not possible to pickup without calling? What about out of base? Im talking about a straight pickup in both cases. Thanks.

It's done under seniority trip trading. You might be blocked from trading or picking up if you don't have 100 hours (or 75???) on the airplane.

Depends on which scheduler you talk to. I was able to pick up about of base trip a few weeks ago as a reserve. I think they have to have lots of open trips and few reserves.

You can also hit the "check legality" button before hitting save.

Out of base pickups need to be done by phone after 1500 (?). Not positive of time but it's after SC aggressive pickup.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the answer is no...unless you talk to the right person (and it somehow benefits them)...then the answer can be yes.

Got it.
