CA Earthquake

Pretty sizable, about 3:30 am. Everybody is awake in the north bay. Some road closures for inspection and overpasses. Series of aftershocks now.

Mostly just power outages so far. 6.0 close to American Canyon which is about 9 miles S of Napa, or right next to Vallejo. Also woke up just about everybody in the entire bay area.

Most damage is from people who didn't bolt their china cabinets or TV entertainment centers to the walls...

Geez. Hurricane this week, volcano in North Atlantic, now earthquake. Picked the wrong week to stop smoking.

I'm on top floor at Hilton Financial. The clock said 323am and even though I was still half asleep...you could feel the building shaking. The whole thing was over in about 10 seconds.
