Be careful, the company is Junior Manning. I know because the telegram just arrived at my door. It was delivered via Pony Express! Fortunately, I was wearing a disguise and told him that he had the wrong house. Made sure to blow out the lantern after he left.

Dave didn't post in order for everyone to go back in time. He is simply holding the companies feet to the fire. Jeff and his YES men need to know that we are not going to let anything slide. Hopefully, but doubtful, Jeffy will realize its easier to play by the rules than fight everything.

To the sane among us, it sounds like "Dave" opted out of paper pay stubs and is now trying to shift the blame for his ignorance while simultaneously attempting to create a mask of superiority for himself so his fellow peers don't see what a child he is.

Except, of course, that he did not opt out. He was opted out ---along with everybody else--- without the option of receiving a paper copy until the company backtracked.

Can we presume you are not a current UAL pilot and thus not familiar with what transpired?

(And yes, I'm fine with paperless.)

He was opted out and waited 4 years to hold their feet to the fire and get them to backtrack?

Hell, maybe we HAVE found our next MEC chairman.

Huh?

(UAL stopped paper stubs a few months ago.)

And you believe they violated California law in doing so?

I have no idea, I'm not a CA resident.

But I did notice that there were no longer pay stubs in my v-file.

Did you notice the initial, incorrect statement on here that you defended?

"California law requires employers to provide pay stubs. This does not include downloading an electronic pdf as a pay record on a dodgy sometimes available web page."

A PDF copy on the company website is legal... Why was a complaint filed and why is that wasteful and harmful action blindly being defended and packaged as standing up to the company?
