Well I am not the one that is talking about how hard life would be if this guy was not on the 787. Clearly, I am a LCAL wussy, I was hoping you all would show us how it is done. That has not been the case. But since this is the internet and it is easy to spout off about what someone would do. If he tried to talk to me I would fart in his general direction.

Well there is a scab list, with pictures. Scab employee numbers end in a letter, and they are usually the ones wearing lots of ALPA Flare, lanyards, pins, bag tags.

Not hard to discover them. There is a list with pictures. Anyone who flies with one would know by the employee number. I doubt anything happens to them, just another disappointment of this crappy merger.

Hard to show "how it's done" when every week I fly with a L-CAL scab, the L-CAL FO IRO defends them, drinks beer with them, and gets all huffy when I tell them scabs are pieces of crap.
WITHOUT fail, that has been the case on the 756 in IAH.

So you do what to the scab? Only read checklist?? Don't talk to either of them?

That's too bad. Sorry to hear about your experience. What did you DO to the scab to show him your displeasure of his actions? I mean besides talk to the IRO about him while the scab wasn't there.

Yes to all.
If I hear how "great of a guy" this or that scab is one more time....I may actually vomit in the cockpit.
3 months after batting over and I'm done with these scab trained, scab defending L-CAL FOs. EVERY WEEK.....without fail.
Once they open up some left seat bids in IAH, I'll be leaving the scabs for others to be buds with. No thanks.

You don't DO anything!
They are worthless pieces of crap. I don't care what they think. I don't care what they say.
You ignore them. You ignore their stories. You do your job as outlined in the FOM and that's it.
Do you think you should treat them with hostility? Confront them?
Uhhhhh......no. That's not how you treat a scab.

What do you CAL guys expect? You coddled your SCABS over the years, made them feel welcome and you've broke bread with them, maybe even buying them a beer. It'll take time to correct all the mistakes you've made with your SCABS over the years.
One of the first things YOU need to do is stop making them feel welcome. One thing that may help is to point the SCABS out to both CAL and UAL pilots.
Make their time at work miserably.
For you F/O's paired with a SCAB Captain - do your job. Don't try to make them look good but keep the flight safe.
Stop spending social time with the SCAB on layovers. If you see a pilot doing this remind him of what the SCAB did.
The UAL Professional Standards guys have a lot of experience in this area. If you expect others to step-up for you, you need to do the basics. There is no requirement for you to be friends with or socialize with a SCAB.
