The arbitration was well documented. If you look in the opening letters, I think you'll find who the bad guys were and what the bad guys tried to do.
Whatever.....keep digging.

Google "pilot scab list" and I bet the first couple results are PDF versions that you can print or store on your personal electronic device of choice.

The more you dig, the dumber you look. Just say you said something stupid, it made no sense, and move on.

How you can live with that overage juvenile deliquent, I'll never know.

You said it a post above - need to accept responsibility and not blame ALPA for one's own actions.
I'm not "blaming" ALPA for anything... just stating the facts. I'll keep this simple: The IACP (CALs internal union) had scab members. The IACP and ALPA decided a merger was in both of their best interests. ALPA took all IACP members, including the scabs, as members in good standing. ALPA could have decided to not merge with the IACP and some stood against it, while others held their nose and supported the merger, scabs and all. I'll say it again, ALPA had the final say. Why do you insist on denying what we all know to be true?

Hoss, years after age 65 retirements began again, I've got more pilots in front of me in my BES than I did on the day of the merger announcement in May 2010. Most of us on both sides have a story about how we got screwed. Time for all of us to move on. Some won't and will make their lives and those of anyone near enough to hear them complain miserable. Don't be one of them.

Amen. Time to move on.

Oh look they're hiring 1300 pilots . . . yeah but they're all junior to me so who cares . . .

Come on. Yes life sucks and then you die, but ya gotta smile at something once in a while.

Actually you should be making this comment to Baseball. He is the one who is whining about how he got skrewed on the ISL. I was simply asking him a question. And that question was compared to my circumstances HOW did you get screwed Baseball? I really want to know as he keeps bringing it up.

I am not complaining, just keeping it real for a dude like BB...

That's not because of SLI. That's because of the merger in general and changes in staffing. Keep in mind that pilots junior to you in your BES bailed and went to DEN, ORD, LAX, SFO, and IAD and that created vacancies in turn that led to other pilots who happened to have more seniority come into your BES.

For every guy that is in your situation, there is a guy who is now flying out of a base that wasn't available to them pre-merger. Not good for you if you stayed in base, good for the other guy who now doesn't have a 2,000 mile commute maybe.

I'm in the same boat Hoss is in, having been able to hold Captain pre-merger somewhere for 11 years (since 1999), but post-merger, not able on any bids until recently because they were all going to LCAL pilots in LUAL bases.

I'm also guessing that the LUAL pilot one below you on the seniority list has more longevity, so why don't you give him a call and let him know that he got a great deal in the SLI somehow.
