Come on James, this was all in a CCS memo 17 months ago. You didn't read it and memorize it? Oh yeah, you weren't on CCS 17 months ago.
I know less about the job I do right now than at any time that my wine and Alzheimer dulled mind can remember. The ignorance matrix is growing rapidly. It is not getting better.
Wait a minute. What were we just talking about?

Five pages on this thread.
Within weeks of contract passage, an entirely new insurance program can be rolled out. You can be monitored with keystroke loggers, ams, intranet tracking, video cameras. Paycuts can be initiated with lightening speed while pay increases take great lengths to program. Want that special meal you are owed? Sorry, a meal request program is difficult to code and the rollout will be delayed.
All the time we are like dogs chasing a piece of scrap meat called hotel pickup times. Merging is difficult.

Heads up, it's not my job to call or ask anyone about company supplied information if it isn't listed I guess I don't need to know it. It's also not my job to arrange for transportation from the hotel to the airport. If the pick up time is not listed I'll show up at a raasonable time. If there is no van the company will have to provide one. Not my problem.
You are aware that they don't have to reimburse you for transportation from the hotel to the airport right?

Here's how it went down on my last trip, me: do you know what time our pick up is tomorrow? Van driver: 8:00 am. Day two van pickup written on hotel sign up sheet. Day three van pick up written on hotel sign in sheet. So easy even a pilot can do it...... Stop trying to go to war over nothing.
Well, you've been lucky. Many long layovers neither the hotel or van driver has any info on pickup times. NY long layovers, the pickup times used to vary depending on day of the week and time, referencing commute traffic. Logical--now nothing. Best guess. Some times the van is at the wrong hotel....
Not unusual to be arriving at JFK at departure time.

It's actually possible the company doesn't consider any of this prior to ID construction and line awards. Misunderstanding and conflicts should come well before it gets to the line pilot and ad hoc changes should be the exception and not the rule. It really is that simple.......
