I just finished the survey and in the comments area I added some recommendations. It was something I have been thinking about for a while - A lottery for 2 First Class tickets (Positive Space) to a desirable destination based on the season. So maybe two lottery's a year and sell raffle tickets to all employees. This would raise revenue for pass travel because most - at least me, would buy a few tickets for a chance to win 2 first-class tickets.

Umm, yeahhhhh.
What other benefits do you think we could water down and raffle off, you know, to help out and raise money?
If they want a disaffected, disenfranchised, and uncaring workforce they're doing a great job (still). Trying to turn the employees into a profit center is short-sighted, but it would take a leader who knows how to take care of the troops to understand that. Unfortunately, UAL only has mangers, not leaders. UAL will reap the culture that they're sowing for decades (and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys).

Yeah, what he said! United's got me all disaffected & disenfranchised and what not. But that's OK, because we control the cruise altitude, the parking brake and power levers. And that APU thingy too.
Things are messed up at UCAL thats for sure. One would think that the company would endeavor to rally the troops and initiate some team building to try and right the listing ship and service. Instead, they're searching for larger and spikier wedges (DOH FOR TRAVEL >>> MikeFoxing>>> PERIOD you losers) to shove into our toight spots and are also searching for ways to get US to buy the wedges!
Bourbon....need bourbon.

Think how much money they could save paying us 85 hours per month to stay at home. Now there's a suggestion!

I also just finished the survey and finished with this little note:
“Pass Travel is essentially a negotiated contractual benefit. Trying to eliminate the cost by reducing benefits is akin to illegally intentionally abrogating binding contracts. It is the cost of doing business, deal with it.”
Try that on for size.
