Could've held a line for most of the time I've been back, but enjoy weekends off.
Now that being said, have to see how Jan. Bid turns out. Some different commands that I hope I used properly. Also, I am assuming no more choice of long call (A) or short call (B) because I did not see that option. I know that they were calling A in a lot more than B...
Bidding for short call goes away starting in Jan, all will be long call. Then converted to short if necessary.

Thanks for all the great info guys. I probably should have explained at the outset that I'll be reserve only for the time after I finish training. Little surprise from paragraph 20-C-3. If after finishing training a pilot is qualified in a Category other than he bid for during monthly Preferencing then the company builds a reserve line for the remaining days. Everyone getting BAT training or switching between 76T and 756 on a vacancy bid will get to enjoy some quality time on reserve.

Anyways, I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed that I get to stay home

Thanks. That's what I thought because I didn't see the option to set b or a reserves...

If necessary means at their whim and fancy. Plus, free FSB!

Depending on where you live, driving to any of the airports in NYC can be very very expensive. Not good.

I hope all this info helps Joe get thru his 20-some days of reserve. Wow, can't imagine a fate like that.
Godspeed John Glenn.
