Probe, just out of curiosity, what awesome work rules did you guys bring to the merger? The M5D for reserves is about all I can think of. 1 to 4 trip rig, we did have that in POS 02, however required a 27hr overnight. Please do tell what awesome rigs you guys had, that the mighty UAL alpa got for us.
I sure we could of had better work rules of we had your POS scope.
Having said that I can't and won't argue the damage scabs did in general to the CAL pilot group. But to make it seem like you guys came in and saved the day is BS pure and simple.

Nope. When they say jump, we should ask how high. Our hats should be worn with pride and every second not conducting required duties should be spent interacting with passengers. That will lead to big profits which the company will have no choice but to share with us, the pilots. You know, the pilots who are the leaders of the company and every co-worker looks up to.
Get with the times Lax and adjust your attitude.

I do, unlike you I was in Kindergarten in 1983 when the strike happened. I really don't care.
You will be surprised who will cross a picket line if we ever strike. Some of the most vocal "scab haters" will be the first ones across since lots of them don't have skills to make other income.
