Uh, then why did you start a thread titled "So where's your Mea Culpa", cause that's exactly what you're asking for.

I don't think that is entirely correct. The CAL pilot that is directly above me on the arbitrated list was exactly 508 numbers below me on the UAL MC submitted list. Not what I would call close.

You did very well in the arbitration Joe. Those below you not so much. Fair and equitable is not what I would call a list that places people with seven years less "sweat equity" ahead of me.

I'm over being upset about this. Nothing I can do.

The only positive that I can determine is that I will never have to jerk gear for a F'ing SCAB.

But did you see how many guppies they brought to the mix?

That was the result of the 35/65 longevity and S/C weighting of the ISL as opposed to the 50/50 that the UAL MC proposed. The UAL pilot next to me on that proposal ended up 559 numbers junior to me on the ISL.

A Mea Culpa is not a sorry; it is an admission that you are at fault.

Who is to blame for the ruined expectations of the Continental pilots? Obviously many Continental pilots are not shocked by the results of the SLI, but some are, and the question is will those Continental pilots keep blaming United pilots as if somehow United pilots caused the merger and the resulting ISL?

We are ALL UAL pilots now on one list - enough already.
We as L-UAL pilots can set an example or we can make total as*es of ourselves and put a wedge further between these two groups of pilots that now make up the list as we know it. Who does that advantage to be a split group - think about it.

ALPA Code of Ethics FAIL

Let the former L-CAL pilots figure out what happened on their own - it will come to them but to rub their face in it is UNSAT in my book.

Gee, why didn't I think of that? You really must be a brain surgeon! I simply looked at the individual immediately ahead of me on the UAL proposal and then found that person about 500 numbers junior to me on the final list. One of those 500 individuals was you. I don't care that I'm senior and I don't care about any of your long-winded self-important prognostications. I'm not arguing who won the overall award (I'll concede that was pretty one-sided). I'm here to point out that you lost a wager that you proposed on your own initiative:

Well, you were wrong. The fact that I moved up 500 numbers relative to the next senior pilot on the UAL list has nothing to do with retirements. The fact that me and you have switched positions from one list to another should be enough for you concede that the board certainly did not use the UAL list "exactly as published".

Now: pay up or shut up. If you can't honor your own wagers than I propose you stop making them and moreover stop starting threads demanding a "Mea Culpa" when your unable to offer your own.

I can't believe it took 38 posts for someone on APC to be a math nazi.
Wow. My bad. Thanks for the correction, but somehow I don't think he even plans on paying the smaller amount...

That's actually very impressive. Thanks.
