GuppyPuppy;
If it makes you feel any better (it won't) I am almost the same exact seniority as I was on 9-11. A little over 6000 out of 12000.

It is not just you.

GP: Using the Arbs lists you were around 90% on UAL list and dropped to 92% on the combined list. Your class is mixed with quite a few blue of the Nov 07 CAL folks. Starting with the 4/3 UAL class the mix goes to a 7:1 UAL to CAL ratio. Most guys of this era on the UAL side are -2% on the final list and the CAL 06-07 era are 3+% on final list (The big ISL winners). I will also point out the middle of CAL list were the big losers on the list at -3%. Again these percentages are based off of the Arbs list and not UAL or the CAL 2013 wish list..BTW for me the CAL guy I was slotted against in the UAL list ended up 200 numbers senior on the final list.

I know it's not just me...I was making a general statement complaining about career regression rather than progression. When I was hired there was a guy with less than three years on property who was a U30 captain in SFO. Today, pilots in my seniority range with over 13 years since DOH are worse off than on 9/10/01 and have suffered through two furloughs. The second furlough was, IMO, entirely due to Tilton & company right sizing the airline for a merger with Continental.

United was a great company to work for back when I was hired. I know you've all been through the wringer and I hope it will get better for you in the future.
