The MEC Chairs have it

I did a quick look. Lot's of folks have already dropped off the list due to age. 18 of the first 53 (the first page) retire this year or are already gone due to 65. I'd expect hiring to continue just due to retirements.

They won't talk about direct 2010 % because we are all within a couple percentage and they'd have nothing to complain about.

To be perfectly honest with you I landed about right where I expected to be. Most lists are based upon the merger announcement date or date of closing of the merger. Based upon that I was 66% on the CAL list and I am 66% on the total new list when you consider the folks hired since. I am right next to a guy hired 31/2 yrs before me on the 767 out of ORD. I am 777 in EWR. Not going to complain

If every senior FO on the 777 in SEA or the 747 in LAX took a CA spot then guys may get bumped out of their seat or base. They would have bumping rights per the contract.
Also keep in mind the 757 being parked. More guys with bumping rights. If I was a junior CA in a LUAL 757 base or in LAX I would be concerned. DEN is going to be a blood bath
