LAX, do you ever listen to yourself. Do you still listen to Milli Vanilli? Dude, news flash the 80's and 90's are over. Guppy airline vs Jumbo airline.
United before this merger was a joke man, get it a joke. Your planes were ancient and crappy, for the love of god your 757 still have tv's in the aisle!!! I've been on Russian airplanes , hell even 3rd world airlines with newer equipment. You should be happy and grateful to be in the position you are in. Not telling us "guppy" pilots how things should be.

There would be IMMEDIATE harm to the pilots who are bidding at a lower position than their seniority dictates and there is no good justification for not properly sorting the BES rosters.

,FWIW, I'm not a furloughee, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not flying at LCAL, and I've never contributed to any other extra-ALPA complaints.
We have a winner!!! We've identified the LAST UAL pilot that hasn't filed a lawsuit for being wronged!!!

Funny because United is still here and I am still a pilot flying for United wearing a United pilot uniform on the United pilot seniority list and getting paid by United still.

Where is CAL if it was such a great airline?

Maybe he was imprecise or you misunderstood seat bidding vs monthly PBS bidding. Certainly LUAL furloughs at LCAL have to wait for vacancy to bid into a new position, but they have to that now, along with everyone else. I think that for October we will bid in the ISL seniority in seats we (all) already hold.

You honestly care about the age of planes???? Are you an RJ driver with SJS? Delta, UPS, and FEDEX have older planes than LUAL by a mile and they are all kicking our tails.

I would take a 25 year old 757 or a 20 year old A320 over a 3 day old 737 ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. But really, who cares?!

... and take 120 min delay and inconvenient 200+ passengers for MX,
True L-UAL spirit!
Forget about safe, reliable, on time service to our customers; forget about best reliable service to our business passengers relying on our service to arrive at their business meeting on time, forget about keeping our airline profitable; what counts, is that L-UAL pilot feels good about himself.
Trust me, I hate guppy and everything about this Boeing 1960s technology, but it keeps this airline profitable, and keeps me employed, and that's all I care about.
Perhaps one day, some of you, on L-UAL side, will realize, that having a long term employment is better then the superb contract and furlough for 13 years with potential in more then $1.5 mil in lost wages.
This guppy vs heavy debate, is like a guy with a small d1ck and big truck. When you guys realize, it's not about a size, it's all about the $$$$.
Less then a year ago, your 25 year B757 CA were making less then FOs in Sothwest and jetBlue, what you say to that? Perhaps you felt a bit short between the legs, and you are compensating with the size of your airplanes.

If a UAL guy is on the 737 in IAH and ends up senior to a hundred CAL guys (who are also 737 IAH F/O's), he will be put in front of them quickly.

How can you have #8,500 bidding junior to #9,000 on the same equipment??

Never going to happen.

There is no precedent for it, and not even the CAL guys asked the arbitrators for such an arrangement.

The CAL guys seem like a good bunch, but your SLI team has proven themselves to be worthless.
