Easy killer!!! I've done 121, 135, and now am at a 91 gig. I was a better pilot when I flew 85 hrs a month than I am now that I fly 25 hrs a month. Personally I think it's all about the individual regarding customer service which is what 91 guys are supposed to have over a 121 guy. I call bs on that myself. If flown with great guys in all three areas. As well as d-bags in all three.

No need for an "easy killer", I am just pointing at the humor in your post about corporate guys being at a disadvantage with getting on at a legacy/major. Any 121 guy that has tried to get his foot in the door without a good hook up in the corporate world has a serious uphill battle which obviously you are very aware of. "What type of corporate experience do you have?" has been asked many of times to me personally. Well none, but I spent years working high end customer service related positions. That seems to fall on deaf ears once the zero corporate experience bomb has been dropped. So yeah I am a 121 guy that has a proud back ground of customer service but as you called bs on, not being part 91 I can't get a look. No worries though, keep a good attitude and when something is meant to be it will all fall into place (I hope).

Sorry if you felt I was jumping on you with my statements. But you gotta find a bit of humor in a coprorate guy worrying about being at a disatvantage... Right?

I do see it. Flying airplanes is flying airplanes. Customer service is customer service. I wasn't offended and hopefully you weren't either. I argue your point to people in my own department. There are a lot of corp guys that can't stand the airline type, whatever the eff that is! Like I said, I think its all about the individual. If a director of aviation can't see that then you prob don't want to work for them.

Sorry if my reply came across as overly direct. I can't stand the 121-91 comments on incompatibility
