Well 2/3rds of the month of August is behind us, Are the Arbitrators attempting a "King Solomon and trying to cut the baby in half"?

The Merger Committee thinks after labor day.

Why so long compared to NW/DL and US/AW? Why no words about it from ALPA?

Makes me think there is some sort of agreement to hold onto it.
Until summer flying is over? Until 737 bids close? Until what?

Meanwhile the company is earning interest on our retro pay.

The junior EWR 737 Capt bid after Bid 14-02 was Sperance. They squeezed in another 4 below him on 14-02A.

The LOA about the SFO 737 bid has those stipulations in there concerning the possibility of an SLI not being done by September. I don't think it would be in there unless they intended on using it.

Not to mention that the junior CAL bros are slurping up the bonus bucks while the junior blue maggots are getting 70 hours, year after year.
This REALLY chaps my a$$! But hey, lets all pull the unity rope shall we?

Sorry to derail the thread.

Wait just a minute; We might have to wait until Labor Day for a decision? Geeze, I thought a decision HAD to be made by end of August. Are the Arbs paid by the day or per entire process, whether it takes an hour or six months?
