ISL - It's quiet out there...too quiet

From todays update. Looks like this week.
SENIORITY LIST UPDATE
The CAL and UAL MECs have received word from the arbitrators that they are on track to complete the Integrated Seniority List (ISL) in approximately one week. While there can be no guarantees that the ISL will be complete within seven days, the CAL and UAL MECs are making preparations to be in session late next week in the event that the ISL is received from the arbitrators. We will keep you informed should we receive further word.

I will say that procedurally, in IAH, we always request a motion from the floor to admit non-iah members, usually for wives or members from other councils. We've always gotten that motion, and NO IAH Pilot (LUAL included) have ever objected to admitting and wife, child, LCAL or LUAL member.
That's is how we handle it in IAH.

Its actually not a big deal. They were pilots flying for the CAL side based out of EWR, but also they were on the L-UAL list. So someone in the room asked about what they can do or if anything is planned if the CAL list isn't approved, and they asked the L-UAL pilots (who are actually hired at CAL and still ALPA members) to leave, which they did, so they could talk about the plan they have when the arbitrators put the list out.

How do you let guys like this get elected. At least at UAL, we control the people we elect and hold them accountable. If their actions go to sef-serving side, we get rid of them fairly quickly. It's even worst when your other LEC reps don't stand up against these actions.

That's a collective "we control". A hard concept for you cal types but the "we" concept has been around a long time with unions. Maybe not at CAL but it has been around.
If you're having trouble with the reading, you may want to get better glasses or ask somebody to read to you.
