Yikes.
You guys keep saying that, but the fact that you got furloughed was not a merger, you give up on scope and outsourced to regional.
Stop saying you furloughed to right size airline for merger, will you wake the f. up people. You keep giving away scope, including the last TA.

Question...How many more 70 seat RJs came on property after UAL parked the 94- 737s? Answer...very few. Funny how UAL parked the 737s after the antitrust immunity (virtual merger) with CAL was granted. And the scope that was given away on the TA....that was YOUR scope, too.

It's funny, when it's inconvenient to you taking about scope, then you guys claim that you are trying to integrate seniority, but somehow L-UAL pilots actions tends to present the contrary.
The last vote for TA was overwhelmingly pushed by L-UAL pilots due to increase in pay, which was well below CAL and even other low cost carries, with gross disregard to scope. Majority of CAL junior pilots voted NO, as they had no incentives. Work rules mean nothing if you get furlough for 13 years due to outsourcing, excuse me "right sizing for merger". :-)
Still I can't remember even one CAL pilot that was for the merger, yet UAL pilots kept asking, when it'll happen since you loved Tilton so much.

P.S. vote not about pay about pushing for SLI - you're welcome.
Don't you worry about my position on seniority list post SLI, mine is assured, it is people like you, who will be surprised in 4 weeks. ;-) enjoy, it will be entertaining.

Why do we keep re-arguing over chicken shxt all over again! Who needed the merger, ISL presentations, SCOPE, JCBA....like a dog chasing its tail! You parked 737s and furloughed and so did we, about 67....300s and 500s during the same period. Our scope clause, prevented even more. We had our good and bad times, and so did L-UA But seriously, who gives a shxt now! Its done, so where do we go from here? Keep fighting, seeking the demise of each other, like past and current ongoing merger pilot groups. The type of leadership and maturity as a whole to move the combined pilot groups forward is not going to totally come from our union reps or ALPA national, it will come from guys, like us, on the line daily who make a conscious effort to be one group going forward. I am ready for the ISL and one group, as i suspect many on this forum and have no problems at all " throwing gear", for any truly UNITED pilot sitting in the left seat.

Yeah, but it is kinda fun watching the usual suspects work themselves into a tizzy.

But you agreed that the current TA "reduces" RJ flying" in another post?!
Tell us again how long you have been at the new United?
Think the "Blue juice" has screwed with your head...

Why isn't Ben Salley and "Motch" on here protecting you guys.

As a side note - the UAL side has the popular vote and LEC votes. What do you think will happen post SLI and election of the first combined MEC? You think they'll try to fix some of these things?
Your little ALPA brothers you gladly helped, made more money, made Captain sooner, and flew newer, shinier airplanes. The little brothers also fly for the airline that is now providing jobs to the pilots you BIG BROTHERS threw to the street.

Nice job Big Bro....You guys are smart, and yes I thank you everyday.
