Sitting in your seat I guess it didn't matter much to you that the junior guys (with 15-18 years) were seeing Captain bids going to the CAL guys (with 7 years). Glad people like you were in the minority.

Carlosdanger....THANK YOU. We appreciate the senior guys that saw the screwing we were getting w/o a contract.
Ualhvy I am glad your life has improved, but yes the junior guys matter to me very much. I know since I put my seat and equipment up people can take shots pretty easy with regards to the senior comments but I know many at ual in many different seats that voted against it, different opinions I guess.

You can blame ALPA all you want and to honest I don't care what little axe you have to grind with ALPA. If you were hired as a 570 you should be ashamed of yourself for attempting to let any UAL pilot suffer at an injustice perpetrated by the company or any other pilot group. I'm done with you mister 777-left. Hope that little world you live in is .......
Great job of quoting the alpa scare policy and hey maybe it's true, we will see how it all works out. I just didn't go for it. Because I didn't agree with much of the contract I am blaming alpa? I am not ashamed of myself for voting against a contract I didn't agree with, but when you come up with that 85 hire month let us know. It's hard to get through your post but lets say a 1978 guy didn't like the 30% retro with your thinking then you should be ashamed becasue you pepetuated his or her injustice by voting for this contract? Just an ex.
I guess I am moving up though from slick to mister777 left. Oh and my little world is just fine but sorry that has nothing to do with united airlines and if that is what you think will fix your best of luck as you might be waiting a while.
Everyone had a vote, but hey when was that hire date. Don't worry no worries on the answer and no worries on you being done with me thats all good.

No...most of the Captains I know saw what was happening.

I have yet to hear of one f/o that is SFO based on the 320 or 757 that voted "no." I'm sure that some did but I have not heard of one.

Yes many of the Captains I know saw what was happening and voted no. I am not based in sfo but yes I have talked to 320 and 757 folks in ord that voted know.

I was suprised by the 320 folks because it seemed like that was the company target but many not just a few 757 in chicago both left seat and right seat. I also heard fo on the 320 in chicago that basically said they will vote for any raise that was presented so when I hear some of them say they vot no I am suprised.

By the way since you have all the exact information how many ual pilots voted for it and break it down by seat equipment and domicile if you could. At 67-68% of the total group that voted for it do you think that some were ual, geez, give it a rest like I said enjoy what you have for now.

Do you really think that through out this airline your opinion was agreed upon by all of the pilots.

No, there were plenty in the left seat of the 777 & -400 that think like you.

ualhvy yes I am sure there were many in those seats that voted no just like me. Do you really think our thought process was to try to screw over our own pilots, I really don't think that was the case. It is different opinions and then you vote the way you feel is right. Hey it went your way, great, I can live with that. But because I or someone else voted against it does not mean we are against someone junior to us.

When I read all this and I hear some folks here talk unity I can only wonder. We don't have any unity apparently within our own ual group. Is it the bus guys vs the 777 guys vs the cal guys.

There was also guys in my seat and the 400 that voted yes because they wanted something with retirement around the corner and did not want to risk no gains before they retire. Heck I fly with fo's that are within 2 years and yes some of them voted yes, they tell me that if it got turned down it could drag on too long for them, everyone has there reason, I get that just like you had your reasons.

Go enjoy it is all I can say.

Was thinking the same thing......"Carol's" Danger??

Either an empty Kitchen, or a swing-n-miss at the "CARLOS" attempt.

Spelling was never Staller's forte.
