Yeah....figures. You know so much better than the majority at UAL that voted for it. I'm glad it passed...my life has improved because of it.
Sitting in your seat I guess it didn't matter much to you that the junior guys (with 15-18 years) were seeing Captain bids going to the CAL guys (with 7 years). Glad people like you were in the minority.
Carlosdanger....THANK YOU. We appreciate the senior guys that saw the screwing we were getting w/o a contract.

Not one of those things had a direct impact. The JCBA was like no other contract in UAL voting history. First and foremost it was a three -way negotiation. The company and CAL had reason for a delay. If we had voted down the JCBA, the only party to the negotiation that would have been harmed would have been UAL guys in Captain bids and possibly SLI. You can blame ALPA all you want and to honest I don't care what little axe you have to grind with ALPA. If you were hired as a 570 you should be ashamed of yourself for attempting to let any UAL pilot suffer at an injustice perpetrated by the company or any other pilot group. I'm done with you mister 777-left. Hope that little world you live in is .......
I guess I am moving up though from slick to mister777 left. Oh and my little world is just fine but sorry that has nothing to do with united airlines and if that is what you think will fix your best of luck as you might be waiting a while.
Everyone had a vote, but hey when was that hire date. Don't worry no worries on the answer and no worries on you being done with me thats all good.

Ualhvy I am glad your life has improved, but yes the junior guys matter to me very much. I know since I put my seat and equipment up people can take shots pretty easy with regards to the senior comments but I know many at ual in many different seats that voted against it, different opinions I guess.
I have yet to hear of one f/o that is SFO based on the 320 or 757 that voted "no." I'm sure that some did but I have not heard of one.

I was suprised by the 320 folks because it seemed like that was the company target but many not just a few 757 in chicago both left seat and right seat. I also heard fo on the 320 in chicago that basically said they will vote for any raise that was presented so when I hear some of them say they vot no I am suprised.
By the way since you have all the exact information how many ual pilots voted for it and break it down by seat equipment and domicile if you could. At 67-68% of the total group that voted for it do you think that some were ual, geez, give it a rest like I said enjoy what you have for now.
Do you really think that through out this airline your opinion was agreed upon by all of the pilots.

When I read all this and I hear some folks here talk unity I can only wonder. We don't have any unity apparently within our own ual group. Is it the bus guys vs the 777 guys vs the cal guys.
There was also guys in my seat and the 400 that voted yes because they wanted something with retirement around the corner and did not want to risk no gains before they retire. Heck I fly with fo's that are within 2 years and yes some of them voted yes, they tell me that if it got turned down it could drag on too long for them, everyone has there reason, I get that just like you had your reasons.
Go enjoy it is all I can say.
