With everything going on with the company and pilots groups you'd think he hang around town. But given his history he may be better off heading south. Make sure he gets taken of the seniority list this time.

No, not baiting at all. You and others were suggesting that we use that to gain improvements in the current CBA and you work for CAL. It's not yours to play with.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not.
I do know that I was not a fan of Capt. Abbott.
Didn't seem like a Leader to me. Just my opinion.

What I want (and am hoping for) is Leadership. Lead by example. Do what is right, not what is easy.
Do what sustains us in the long run.. even if it is tough in the short run.
Have Vision.

Again, hopefully in 6 weeks we can move forward together.. and try and keep this train on the tracks. I think that IF we can work together and IF we have management that wants to run an Airline, not a "Holding Company".. than maybe, just maybe, we can kick ass and take names~

Anyhooters..
Pool time~

Respectfully;
Please use a much narrower brush in describing the 7800+ of us and please don't speak so inclusively for anyone else. It's possible that we all don't agree with you (both/either/same person).

I wasn't suggesting it, I was acknowledging it as a given, ironically in making the point that maybe we can put that LCAL PS debacle behind us and move forward in unity, and you turn that on its head.

Once again, this was never said or implied.

Those discussions are underway.

APC225, the first post is what I responded to and your explanation posts do what? Sorry, I don't see it but will let it go. Again, that is UAL pilot money and any distribution will be decided by the UAL MEC and the UAL pilots.

Yes, you are right, Tester. LUAL won the profit sharing grievance so the UAL MEC and the UAL pilots will be getting a check to distribute or leverage as the UAL MEC and UAL pilots see fit.

"You guys did read all the SLI transcripts on how CAL had airplanes on order years before the merger - well these aircraft are part of that order."

Did you read the SEC.gov site for the 10K and 10Qs for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 where it states that CAL had no financing for their aircraft after 3 737 deliveries past summer 2010 and that the debt restructuring that took place in 2005-2006 was placed on Balloon Notes/Bullet Loans amounting to 6 billion dollars with 15% and 18% (33%) coming due in 2010 and 2011 respectively(2-2.4 billion). Boeing does not give away airplanes for free, you have to pay for them thus the merger with United. And that is when United cancelled their Request For Proposal for a Narrow Body aircraft order for the end of 2010 according to the 10Q earnings call for 1Q, and 2Q 2010 from United's CFO Kathryn Mikells.

Sorry Tester/(Staller)
I don't believe you represent most of us.

You might want to join APC with another name and try again.

Respectfully,
I didn't say all UAL pilots. If you think the typical UAL pilot is in lock step with you and the CAL MEC, you are very wrong.
