Working at UAL is nothing like what you read on this forum, you'll be very happy, especially with the 737 guys, very nice group of people.
+1. Love the job, captains have been great.

It appears that all new hires are going to be EWR (NYC) 76T or 320 for a little while, can anyone give an idea of the type of flying on each plane a new hire can expect? Have most flights moved over to EWR or can you expect a healthy dose of LGA and JFK?

Thanks for the replies.

76T = Trans-Atlantic 767-300ER @ EWR and 757-200 p.s. transcon @ JFK. LGA is always a possibility for a reserve call out, but the March schedule did not have scheduled trips starting/ending in LGA.

320 = Domestic, including some Caribbean, out of both LGA and EWR.

Anyone hear today for 08 April class????

BTW with his info on the 01 April class that brings the poolie total to ~165ish

However one of the UAL reps at WAI said it was in the 150s.

For those keeping count.....Again for entertainment purposes only.
Well Poolie fans, hope you are continuing to ensure the throttles are set to long range cruise, fuel tanks stay trimmed and fatigue counter-measures are in place.

01 April ended up with 4 New Hires (vice 3 earlier reported) and 08 April has ONE very lucky newhire attending. Congratulations to UALs newest.

New unofficial total ~163ish swimming. Keep the info flowing as you hear it.

For entertainment purposes only!

For April. 76t had just London and Geneva as Amsterdam and Zurich went to the lcal side. However there was way more domestic flying with about 30% ballpark figure in lga. March had mostly 3 days and April has some 5 day domestic. In the few months I have been here it seems to change a bunch month to month. Just be flexible as we are parking some 75-2 aircraft.

Oh the experience. The massive QOL dump that this contract affords the reserves is a disgrace. But, getting stuck with him can be an experience as well.
