UAL Pool-ies

For what its worth...
A buddy of mine is in the March 25 class. He stated that he was told there were a total of 7 in the class. 6 were new hires. He also was told that the planes available at this moment were the 320 and 76T. No mention of the 737.
Of course - the class is a month away and things change.

Other numbers that I collected that left the pool but have not notified UAL:
2 SW (early Oct interview)
3 USAir (Oct/Nov interviews)
Of course at 6 new hires a month it will still take 7-8 more months to drain the pool to 0, and that is IF at least 6 go per week.

Yet I and my crashpad roommates on reserve can't seem to APU a trip to save our lives. Get in on time at 11:00:01 and it gives you an error, call crew skeds then it's either gone or there is some other reason they can't use you.

I have multiple pad mates and they were all working day 1 like me.

I'm a newhire on the bus...not a single trip in open time. I love commuting to sit in a crash pad for 6 days!

Are they converting you to short call every day? I know guys who will sometimes commute in for the first few days then sit at home for the rest if not converted.
