Did a M&G/G&G with the IAH CP's office recently, 90 was the number I was told in the pool. And I believe that it's true that some are from Oct. interviews as I have friends from that month still waiting.

True. Pre 9/11 NS wasn't pilot, and IIRC, her successor RV wasn't either.

Geri Adams, Nancy Stuke, Roger Vesley.........

A pilot in charge of pilot hiring isn't the historical norm at UAL. If they exclude line pilots from the interview/selection process then we have something to worry about.

I like the idea of a pilot being charge, my point is that's not the way it's always been.
