Back in the late 90s we would hire 25 a week even during the summer. So I don't think we will shut down training in the summer. But then again you never know....

I'm a returnee in the March 4th class. I was first told that there would be no new hires in it, but then the second person I talked to said there might be a few. I think the class will be normal size. I guess the Feb. classes were small because of training backup. I was told 737 / 76T/ 320 EWR in the first 3 march classes but no 737 on the 25th and that class will be smaller than the rest. Don't quote me on it cuz I didn't get exact details. Hope it helps.

I just got off the phone with CV for the 11 March class (all EWR) - I interviewed on 3 Oct with a relatively high last 4 SSN.
3 returnees (2 of which are known 737)
8 new hires to bid for the following: (2) 737, (3) 76T and (3) 320
I asked what future classes looked like, and he stated that the 18th would be of similar size with more returnees embedded. He also stated that the 25th would "taper off a bit" and that April numbers weren't in yet for returning furloughs in each class. He definitely gave me the impression that things were going to continue to progress at a steady rate from here on out.
Good luck to all.
