What I had been told is that the hiring board meets every Wednesday. I didn't get the call until Thursday afternoon. I was also told if you don't get the email by Thursday morning, chances are very good that you will get a call by Friday. Best of luck!

What does it really take to be invited for an interview at United? I know the minimums are posted online (1000 hr turbine, 1500TT) but we all know that's not getting anyone through the door or even close. Is it multiple type ratings? Tons of flight time? Safety programs and seminars and volunteering? I'm sure many have figured out what it takes to be called. Thanks

My suggestion would be to go through this blog and see who has been offered a CJO. As far me:
No military time, all 121, no T-PIC, all SIC, Multiple roles within my company, a decent bit of volunteering. Total time of approx. 4500.
