Get out of it.
That's 120 seniority numbers. It may not seem like much compared to ~12,000 pilots but it will matter every month for the rest of your career. It might someday even be the difference between a furlough or employment even if you think you are safe with >1000 pilots below you. It could make a difference of several hundred pilots on the list after the next merger.
Take the very first new-hire class you can get into.

With regards to seniority, take my word for it... EVERY number matters!

Congrats to everyone that made the cut. Does anyone know when the deadline is for furlough pilots to respond? (I thought it was this week?) Just trying to figure out when I should be in training.

Our class finished BI today. Overall a very good experience so far. Twelve in the class. About half military and half regional and all great guys. Class is very informal with good instructors. We have been getting done around noon on Fridays to allow us to get home for the weekend. We get positive space / must ride status to our home and back to IAH on days off. Systems GS starts this Monday. Training is approximately 8 weeks. Reportedly, BI is moving to DEN in October, with the possibility of some A-320 spots in addition to the B-737. Hiring is to continue at the rate of 12 per week into the spring, with a little less in December due to the holidays. New class starts every Tuesday. Very few furloughees are reportedly coming back. About half deferred and the other took military leave. Great time to get hired. Glad to be here!!
