I've had one speeding ticket in my life, actually it's the only ticket I've ever received. It was probably 12-13 years ago, speeding to get to a home inspection...on my birthday. Cop said, "happy birthday, you're getting a ticket".

I didn't report it on my app. If its still there is be very surprised. With several tickets (in your case) I'd be completely straight up and honest about every single one.

I highly recommend full disclosure of everything.

For those of you who have succeeded in getting hired...a question.

Did any of you miss the initial phone call? In other words, do they leave a voicemail if they call and you don't answer.

I'd hate to find out that they just bypass you if you happen to be flying, asleep, or on the crapper when they call.

Thanks.

I recommend listing all moving violations. I had about 4 over the last 20 years and they barely asked me about them. It is going to be more detrimental to omit them than have to explain them. I got the job by the way.

Yeah, they will definitely leave a message. These people are first class and are not there to play stupid games. If you are selected for an interview, they will definitely wait for your return call. So you can relax!!

If you are going to be away from the phone for extended period of time, you should record a personalized absent greeting targeted specifically the airline recruiter, clearly stating your whereabouts: ie taking a pi$$, on the carpper, "massaging" girlfriend/boyfriend or both, beer shopping, posting bail, failing PC, getting audited by IRS, and most important, interviewing for competative airline. The more personal the better, shows how much you realy care about pilot position in their airline.
Don't be shy, tell them how talented and great pilot you are, and you'll not accept low ball offers and will take employment with first legacy carrier that will call you. Be aggressive pursuing your dream, don't get left behind because you missed a stupid phone call.
OK, a bit of humor, just for laughs
