July 29th class, when you're able to determine, please post how long to expect from indoc to aircraft specific start. 737 primarily since you guys are the last of the 76Ts.
Thanks

Add in the fact that Vacancy 14-05 effective for May shows 453 Bus Pilots but a min of 391 required, and you have a seniority quagmire. The 737 is junior because they opened it up to CAL guys before the SLI. That door is shut. No doubt they will grow the 737 base, but while shinking 76T and da Bus. Good luck.

The first displacement bid snapshot is out, and with only about half of the displacements awarded (68 of 130), 52 (76%) are bumping into Denver positions. As expected. This is gonna get ugly.

Some of the 767 Captains are bumping into Airbus Captain in DEN, so this is just creating even more bumps. Just this one bump is going to create secondary and tertiary displacements. And this is just the first of 9 a month process according to the last update.

Seniority to hold any Captain position in Denver is going to be about 5,000 when this is all over by the looks of things.

I'd be shocked to see a vacancy bid for anything in Denver in the next 2 years.

UPDATE!

At least two Poolies from the first week of June interviews were called for the Aug 26 Class!! Congrats!

I'm basing my estimates on one or two PMs and an internal source
Going forward, here's the best guess/estimate for 2014 poolies:

Interview week June 2-6:

Joe028 (L) 07 - Awarded Aug 26!! Congrats!
Non-APCER01 - Awarded Aug 26!! Congrats!
Bigbyrd (L) 10 - Estimate Sept 9
JMDS (M) 46 - Estimate Sept 9
EH (M) 68 - Estimate Sept 9
MooTang (H) 70 - Estimate Sept 23
Rogerdoger1993 (H) 78 - Estimate Sept 23

June 9-13 interviews:
DueceMountain (M) 55 - Estimate Oct 7

These are best guesses as we don't know the class size of any of the classes for Sept and going forward.

Facts:
Classes scheduled September - December 2014
Breakdown of classes and equipment:
September 09 - 737, A320
September 23 - 737, A320
October 07 - 737, A320
October 21 - 737, A320
November 04 - 737, A320
November 11 - 737, A320
December 02 -737, A320
December 09 - 737, A320

Thanks for taking the lead, JMDS! The 7/29 equipment drop was 3x737, 11 76T, all EWR all the time. The most senior pilot took 76T, the next 3 took 737, then everyone after was volun-told 76T.
Time between indoc & fleet-specific training is still unknown; perhaps by Friday. The time for the 7/22 class on the 76T ranged from between 9 and 30 days!

Clarification please. Does current first class medical for class start mean within 6 months? I figure yes, but wanted to make sure.

Current is current. Just don't let it expire.

Just heard that there will be 3 classes now in Sept with all Airbus in the first 2 classes and mostly 737 in the 3rd. First 2 classes are 2&9 Sept. I am in the 9 Sept class. They are trying to ramp up Airbus IPs, and need students in order to get them checked out.
