I'm curious about the 8-ball ceremony. All these details make me so excited to start class! That's when the most junior pilot from the previous class gives the 8 ball to the most junior from the next class, right? (with a party and beer and all I assume) When classes are two weeks apart with people heading to Houston after basic indoc in Denver, does the previous "8-ball" holder make a special trip back to Denver or just stick around a few more days to hand it off to the next person?

Poolies....bottom line, I have no new intel. It has been very quiet.
BUT - Based on past performance, I would expect calls for the 08 July class to start happening no later than the 4 week prior point. That would put calls coming on Tuesday 10 Jun. Some past performance indicates they might come as early as Monday 09 June. FWIW they usually start making calls at 1030 CST and run almost 3 days in order to reach the 12-20 folks they are attempting to reach.
It is brutal, I know - but starting next week Poolies are expected to hear calls coming EVERY week until the last one of you is "toweling off" from your swim and packing your new roller bag.
