Well AMR for starters. This is too good to be true. I don't know if our boys have this yet, but I'll be emailing a link as soon as I get home.
Has anyone seen the stickers in IAH? They say something like "Make no mistake CAL saved UAL". Are CAL pilots really walking around with stickers like that?

Airline merger talks likely as lean winter months approach
July 05, 2009|By Julie Johnsson, TRIBUNE REPORTER

United also needs to regain Wall Street's confidence. As of Thursday, its stock had declined 70 percent since January, to $3.31 per share, leaving United with a market capitalization of $476.4 million. That's paltry for one of the world's largest airlines, a carrier that generated $20.2 billion in sales last year.
Another sign of United's tenuous standing on Wall Street: It agreed to pay 17 percent interest on $175 million in debt in late June that was secured by $583 million worth of spare parts.

In fact the UAL Market Cap for August 31st 2009 was $903.97M.
What do you suppose caused it to double in a month?
In 2009, United Airlines entered into an extensive partnership with Continental Airlines. This partnership includes codeshare and frequent flyer agreements. As a part of the agreement, Continental left the Delta-led SkyTeam alliance to join United's Star Alliance.
Sure looks like Continental Bailed the shareholders out on this one.
Hoss, call me an A$$ if you want, but I'm not the "Big Dumb One".
If facts were a requirement to post on this board, there wouldn't be a forum.
