And CAL guys were blocked from your bids ... The delay hurt both sides, and was caused by BOTH MECs ... the message sent with your post reaffirms the "what's mine is mine, and what's yours is mine" mantra prevalent on the UAL side.

Good post untied - it was Jeff working with pierce to fatten up the cal captain ranks for SLI. The arbitrators will see it the way you described. The greed and theft stops with the completion of SLI.

Or what's mine is mine and we'll simply staple the bottom 40% of UAL pilots on the CAL side...No self serving attitude there.

The proposal isn't a "staple" per say, but rather the outcome of a one for one ratio ... which I for one don't deem fair nor equitable, so at least we share that common thought.

I appreciate your thoughts on this. How could a one for one ratio ever be deemed logical if the population of the lists are not equal?

Rhetorical question of course and it is so far fetched that I can't even believe it was proposed by sane, rational people.

After which, the furloughs need to be integrated (both sides).

I expect that the UAL Furloughs should be put below the last Active pilot.. whoever he is and whatever side they are from.
HOWEVER..
If that does not happen, my blame will be on the Arbitrators. No one else.

I too believe the list should be constructed with only active pilots. We don't even know how many of the LUAL furloughs will ever return and in what numbers. The LUAL list assumes the furloughed pilots will all return and in one wave. So how does that affect the ISL percentages?

My employee number and the percentage next to my name means nothing, it is based on jobs that don't exist.

It doesn't matter you're flying a huge chunk of our flying from our Hubs feeding our huge WB fleet.
Good for you and your great job!
