Notice the red colors terp.
You should be thankful for special group recognition, otherwise you never would have made it to this industry.

Is there an emoticon missing? I have no idea what you're saying here? Are you specifically addressing ST or me (or both or neither)???

Know and enforce the contract, insist on it!
Dave,

I see your point. I think if they try to, that will be an expedited grievance.

Suffice it to say that we will know more their intent as the final outcome of the SLI gets closer. If I remember correctly, they have to give recall notice with not less than 30 days advance notice to a training date.

Minus the winky emoticon, I can only assume that you have no idea what you are talking about. I have known Special Tracking, AKA Father Guido Sarducci for twenty years and your inference is asinine and 100 percent inaccurate. I feel that an apology would be an appropriate response.

Have a swell day!

Dave,
We cannot hire one street applicant until all UAL pilots have been offered the completed UAL list recall and have received replies from ALL furloughs. This is why hiring will stop for a short period to give full recall rights and then and only then we will know what numbers are needed for street hiring. Several meetings have occurred with the Union and mgmt and this is the contractual process that must be followed.

Not even close to being true regarding the Medical and LTD, especially considering the benefits of our LTD plan (i.e. simple as not being able to hold an FAA medical). Nothing like exaggeration.

Oh, and since you asked, during the road show one of the UAL negotiators gave the briefing and answered some questions regarding the LTD plan vs. the old UAL plan. His words were that it was vastly different for many reasons he listed and that the LTD plan in the contract is far superior. Guess I'll just have to believe what a L-UAL pilot says regarding your old plan.

I think I understand the process and the contractual requirements. However, that has not stopped this management before. Contract, what contract?

You don't know what you are talking about but you should be used to being told that. Harvey Watt is what we are talking about and the UAL pilots have always had the option to buy in to it - very few did because it was the same or less than the United STD(Short Term Disability) and PDI(Pilot Disability Income) depending on what section you're looking at.

I don't think cal had a program until ALPA let you back in. Getting Harvey Watt gave you something. Why don't you get some testimonials from cal guys that have had to use it. I'm still looking for a road show handout comparing the two programs. I do know the UAL R&I chairman said the UAL pay raise would be eaten up with medical, dental, PDI cost increases in the JCBA. The company wasn't willing to give use the UAL PDI program and the cal people weren't willing to support the UAL side to get it. Another indication of how weak pierce and your MEC has been over the past 3 years.
