LAX Issues?

LAX Issues?
Anyone else having issues at LAX?
Nav Kits out of date (by 4 Revisions!?).
MEL books out of date. Parking at the hangars because of no gates, waiting for buses to pick up at said hangars? etc, etc, etc?!?
The -300s aren't "cycling" through the hubs to get some of these issues fixed.
Make sure your A/C Nav kits are up to date (i.e.- LAX to KOA with HTO as alternate. 756 pilots don't carry Hilo plates, so using it as an alternate, without current plates in the nav kit could be a problem. MEL book revision #36 is current, not #35 as found in some...) "CYA"!!!

We did that. Met the assistant Chief Pilot as he brought up a "stolen" nav kit. Just asking if anyone else had the same problem, and to bring it to the attention of some. Seems a few people aren't looking at these nav kits or MEL booklets for currency.

It's all good....
BTW, had a Captain recently tell me this kind of stuff never happened before the merger. I pointed out maybe this kind of stuff was "overlooked" before some of the UAL pilots came over, or he was lying about how much better things were before the merger.
EVERY airline I worked for has it's "stuff"....
Also, BTW, had a good trip on the last trip. No ISL, merger, etc. talk. Just enjoyed the trip (as best we could considering the LAX debacle), drinks and food. And Capt. was a Rocky Mt. guy. We both kinda just said it is what it is, out of our hands... None of the my airline is/was better than yours. BOTH sides had/ have issues...

Just two!!! I'm an old "Rocky" guy so, I'm happy to hear they are treating everyone well!! I've enjoyed flying with all the UAL guys, and agree with you, to keep all Merger related issues out of "Flt Deck" (by the way, is that what we're supposed to call it know?) I've only rolled my eyes at one guy!!! ( I don't think he saw it though!!)

There has to be an additional kit for the alternates!
My "overnight" bag is lighter than my flight bag!!!
We have EFBs on board, and have to carry iPads, and STILL have to carry paper FM, and Jepps.... ????
Maybe ONE day we can catch up to technology....
