You might want to check your facts. "I herd from a guy on the jump seat" usually ain't going to cut it in the fact department.

But Hoss, if you just ignore the IAH unfilled vacancies (320 & 767) in the last couple sUAL equipment bids you can pretend which domiciles are desirable. Not surprisingly, there were not any CA vacancies.

He was on our jump seat that is exactly what he told me. Never once has he been able to hold captain. I was surprised to hear that and asked him about the 737 back during the west coast days he said nope, almost but no.

He told me he had 16 years seniority. At one point 3000 pilots were below him the least amount was about 420.

He was in shock because we were talking about 2006 CAL guys going to upgrade class next month. Good dude, it was a pleasure talking to him. Maybe there is hope for us!

Anyway not making it up, Later in conversation, I do believe he mentioned he was a late 1997 hire date.
