Yes, United has its own scab baggage, but they are not members in good standing, cannot wear the ALPA pin, and cannot hold positions in the union. Scabs at United are not coddled, nor are they considered just "one of the guys". There is a vastly different culture between the two pilot groups when it comes to the treatment of scabs.

Funny we read that in two different points of view, didn't you read where your expert doubled the value of the slots? Caught your guy in a lie, shut him up for a bit....Schooled oh yea. in your point of view?....Ineffective don't think so....Whats the matter? Cross ineffective did you say, I think mr Matlock needs his time to think.... Funny you guys are quieter when it's your turn for criticism....

That pretty much sums it up .. CAL is an airline mentored by their senior member scabs .. a pernicious cancer that pervades their mien.

The whole point of yesterday was to refute the whole, UAL was on their way out argument that CAL posed, and they did, quite effectively. Thus goes down the main argument of the CAL MEC. Now, back to ALPA merger policy in arguments today I'm guessing.

Sorry, it was a simple and meaningless miscalculation that Mo readily admitted to.

Poor Katz was reduced to trying to undermine the witness on minutiae since Mo's credibility was infinitely greater than Campbell's regarding this merger and the airline industry. Its funny how folks trying to claim express longevity = mainline longevity are anxious to accuse people of lying. Your misinterpretation of relative silence is also telling with regards to the arbitration and other forums. Don't worry, you'll figure it out soon enough.

Completely agree!

We sure do see things differently here.

You ever worked a day at CAL? Next time, you are around some L-CAL guys or at a L-CAL domicile, tell them face-to-face what you think, get their feedback then report back to us. Stick to what you know, and that's L-UAL.

FYI, there are a few hundred sUAL pilots at sCAL and are probably pretty qualified to comment on the matter having actual knowledge of both operations.
I think it's fine to note the blatantly obvious culture differences that management has quite successfully profited from w/o getting too personal or getting nasty.

Not getting nasty, just man up and discuss it openly in the crew rooms, if you feel so strongly about your perception of the the CAL culture.
