Care to expand on this?? I would be really interested in knowing what type of business a pilots wife can run that is compatible with airline life.

And BTW, Welcome aboard!! Layover festivities will be on me when we work together!

Nutrition consulting(she is a register dietitian) She is the only one in east Texas doing this(private practice).....kind of hard to believe. Around 400,000 people are closer to her then Dallas, Houston, or Shreveport. She specializes in eating disorders.

Since she is her own boss she just blocks your calendar when I am home. In the future when we have kids she will just block the days I am working. Means I will be working weekends for life..... But she is turning into my sugar mama.

Look forward to meeting you on the line.

Thanks!
7500 TT, 4500 TPIC (RJ), Father UAL -400 FO and ~9 recs including SFO CP (not sure either of those help much any more). Ironically, starting class for LCA at current airline tomorrow. Have had app in and updating since CAL was hiring in '08 was it? Grew up a United brat and thrilled I might have the chance to follow in Pops footsteps.

Any bites on the questions I posted? Good luck to all!

1. Has anyone gotten this call and NOT eventually interviewed (assuming the Hogan test went well)?

2. How long from initial phone call to next contact?

3. Is there a better thread that is covering this process up to the interview? I assume this has all been covered ad nauseum, but my thread surfing skills are lacking today. Thanks!
Anyone else heard anything?

I have not taken the hogan. Just an initial details verification call out of the blue. My curiosity was if anyone has gotten that initial call, and then not heard anything else. And what is the typical wait period between initial call and getting the hogan, etc.

You'll get the test within two weeks.

Then the actual call to schedule an interview if the hogan is passed.
