Dang. I'm glad all went well, I'm sorry to hear they didn't choose you. Now I'm worried about their criteria for hiring. Possibly they aren't looking for perfect TMAAT or flying skills? I wonder if they are looking of certain emergencies that you might have dealt with and the outcome. It might just be that they are looking for certain personalities.
Did you happen to be a previous inten at either UAL or CAL?
I havent had any real emergencies or crazy things happen in my 7 years as an F/O so I'm going to have to come up with some good stuff from just positive experiences.
Has anyone here had a good feeling about the interview and got the thumbs up?

If they're interested in emergency stories, they certainly didn't ask me any. It seemed more like a personality interview. Which seemed like it went perfectly.
There is something at work in the reqs. for the offer that seems more application based and not interview based. It seems as though they will invite you to an interview even if you may not meet all the hidden bars for hiring.
My guess is you can get your app ranked high without meeting every req they may have set for the initial hires.
Who knows? Grasping at straws with no confirmation of how close I am to the truth. Perhaps I'm a bad judge of my own performance...
Pressing on.

On United's Airline App addendum, there's a question that goes like this:
Have you:
A) Ever been convicted or is there now pending against you a misdemeanor or felony (civil or military charge);
B) Received deferred adjudication (even if your case was later dismissed);
C) Been part of any sort of diversion program in lieu of a conviction (even if your case was later dismissed);
OR
D) Paid a fine/ performed community service/ served any jail time?
Do they care about petty misdemeanor traffic tickets here in terms of the "paid a fine" aspect or is this all Misdemeanor or Felonies?
I'm probably reading too far into it, but am curious to how others answered.
