Or we'd have it now, and twice the lump sum.

The whining and quibbling is really nice.
However, what's done is done. Move on.

Talking

Quibbling. Had to look that one up. Very nice, and apt. James promises not to quibble from this day forth. However, he does reserve the right to provide remonstration when necessary in defense of my brothers.

Now if we could just get rid of those two free unused field standbys.

Again, based on the LOA and what I believe I heard in the roadshow, the pay portion will be in effect in March but it will be fully applied in September. I think this means that at the least payroll has to manually calculate days worked @ M5D starting in March and compare to actual and correct as necessary. Then come September when we are all targeted to be part of one big happy CMS/CCS/PBS it will then be built and applied in the pairings and line construction. Again, it helps the company for summer staffing not to implement it until September. My understanding of the issue could be wrong, I admit.

Correct. But also starting in March the 5/day is paid but not applied to cr. time. IOW, the soft time will be paid as add pay and not affect the credit value of your line. In Sep, it WILL be applied to cr. time. That's the way it was explained to me.

It is the win/win position of the stalwart NO voter... with a sense that the JCBA would pass, the NO voters played the hard core, rabid, insolent, bravado bleeding unionist that were willing to fall on their swords.... (despite no responsible plan) and now that the JCBA has passed they shoot one liners of "told you so", "I voted No", "we culda had more" and "my balls are bigger"......
